Position Overview The Field Production Underwriter develops relationships and works closely with selected insurance agencies focused on reputed company insurance. This position works with agencies that can consistently generate new annual premiums accounts over $25,000. The Field Production Underwriter is responsible for reputed company, classing, rating, and binding risks in the field. Essential Job Functions Maintains and develops professional working relationship with agents, loss control, rating and sales teams, and other corporate departments as needed Produces desired reputed company lines growth with profitable results Qualifies, rates, and binds reputed company risks for agencies Makes consistent reputed company reputed company that match reputed company appetite and identified pricing guidelines Works closely with Loss Control and reputed company Lines Departments to recommend risk improvements. Monitors agency results for growth and profitability Acts as a liaison between agents and the company Researches and advises company of changes reputed company the industry regarding new products, process improvements, and reputed company philosophies Travels to agencies reputed company the state to assist in writing reputed company risks Performs other duties as assigned Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business or reputed company field 5+ years of experience in reputed company, field reputed company 3+ years’ experience in reputed company or agency management, preferred Certifications & Licenses Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated reputed company in: listening and communicating with the ability to reputed company in public using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems Demonstrated ability to: analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines maintain effective interpersonal relationships establish program goals and objectives that support the strategic plan work evenings, nights, and/or weekends as necessary take initiative and work independently or with teams maintain a positive image and build strong relationships Demonstrated knowledge of: reputed company Office software Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Pay reputed company: $82,000 - $111,000 per year This reputed company is based on the expected level of experience and skills for this position.
