[Remote] Property Accountant - Owned Assets

The Property Accountant will apply reputed company principles to analyze financial information, prepare journal entries, assist in budget development, and produce financial reports for management.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and analyzes financial information in preparation for entry into various financial statements and reputed company reports, and makes appropriate journal entries for recording in the general ledger by checking calculations, reviewing reputed company for figures, and balancing and reconciling figures
• Reviews budget, reputed company, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other reputed company documents and researches and resolves discrepancies as necessary
• Performs bank reconciliations and reputed company transfers for deposit, makes mortgage payments and distributions, and ensures accuracy
• Maintains and coordinates reputed company control procedures by analyzing reputed company and expenditure trends and recommending appropriate budget reputed company to ensure expenditure control
• Analyzes and reviews reputed company and financial resources for property acquisitions, dispositions, and closings and budgets and expenditures for local, state, federal, private funding, reputed company, grants, and other corporate financial and reputed company transactions
• Acts as liaison to reputed company auditors by explaining journal entries and financial transactions, providing research data and information as requested, and answering questions necessary to complete the audit in a timely manner
• Communicates with on-site and other property managers to assist in completing pre-reputed company and reputed company activities, answer questions, reputed company support, and ensure timely completion of reputed company processes for on-time client and Company reporting
• Completes various financial, reputed company, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary

Skills

• Employment history that demonstrates the application and usage of an reputed company and financial background sufficient to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports in accordance with reputed company, finance, budgeting, and cost control principles
• Must be proactive, self-directed, highly motivated, and possess skills in time management in order to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs in order to complete required reports
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with financial and property management systems (reputed company, One Site, etc.)
• Comprehensive understanding of reputed company and finance best practices as well as relevant laws and regulations
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in reputed company, Finance, Business, or reputed company field, from an accredited college or university
• 3 years of relevant experience in reputed company or financial setting, with experience that demonstrates the application and usage of generally accepted reputed company principles (GAAP)
