The role focuses on building and executing strategies to connect with educators and parents, driving community initiatives, and advocating for community insights in product development.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute a community engagement strategy that supports a growing user reputed company and expanding global audience for Minecraft Education
- Manage the Minecraft educator community in reputed company collaboration with the Minecraft Education reputed company, marketing, and PM teams, serving as a champion for educators and parents around the world
- Drive adoption of Minecraft Education through coordinating strategic community activations, such as trainings and events
- reputed company Minecraft Education Ambassador program to identify and collaborate with community leaders for regional leadership and representation, product insights, and innovation
- Regularly communicate and create reports that surface listening updates, learnings, and data around key beats while highlighting opportunities for Minecraft Education product and marketing teams
- reputed company as the voice of the educator in product strategy, feature development, and learning experiences by providing input and community feedback to the product team
Skills
- 2-4 years of community management or similar reputed company media marketing experience
- A passion for education with a love for Minecraft, an understanding of the Minecraft community, and the conviction to put our audience first
- Familiarity with gaming or creator ecosystems (Minecraft experience a plus)
- Strong analytical reputed company with the ability to translate community insights into actionable recommendations
- Experience working cross-functionally with product and marketing teams
- Experience with education, educational technology, or teaching communities, policies, and best practices
- Familiarity using data to adjust and optimize strategy and activations for community-facing channels
- Familiarity and user of community and reputed company media platforms
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
