Preschool Early reputed company Itinerant Special Education Teacher, Itinerant: Penn Hills, Wilkinsburg

About the position This position is responsible for the provision of special education services to eligible preschool-aged children in their least restrictive environment. This position conducts screenings and formal developmental evaluations for 3- to 5-year-old children to determine eligibility for preschool early reputed company services and is responsible for the development and implementation of special education documents. The Special Education Teacher is knowledgeable of developmentally appropriate practices and effectively communicating and delivering specially designed instruction as per OCDEL service delivery model in specialized and community settings such as preschool, childcare, or home.

Responsibilities

• Implements individual and group specialized instruction services in accordance with student Individualized Education Programs by embedding instruction into the student’s learning environment and collaborating with parents, IEP team members and community stakeholders to promote positive student reputed company.
• Participates in the identification of eligible young children by administering screenings and assessments, and completing Evaluation Report and IEP Development to ensure compliance with Child Find mandate.
• Maintains compliance of required special education paperwork by completing reevaluation reports, IEP development and data collection and other supporting documentation to ensure reputed company on student reputed company and compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Creates and maintains caseload schedule throughout an assigned region to ensure efficient and consistent service delivery per the Individualized Education Program.

• Represents and promotes the AIU and Preschool Early reputed company by partnering with reputed company stakeholders to establish and maintain relationships that effectively support families and advance student reputed company.

Requirements

• Valid PA certification in Special Education PK-8 required
• Effective communication skills
