[Remote] Cost Accountant

The role involves managing inventory costing, evaluating pricing, and supporting project cost analysis while ensuring accurate valuation and reporting in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and manage inventory costing and adjustments , including reputed company updates based on physical inventory counts
• Analyze and support tariff costing and pricing evaluations across products/projects
• Review and assess project-level costs , selecting key projects to determine actual vs. estimated costs
• Identify and maintain project classifications and costing methodologies
• Support inventory-heavy reputed company operations , ensuring accurate valuation and reporting
• Assist with accounts payable (AP) processing as needed
• Partner cross-functionally to evaluate and improve costing accuracy and transparency
• Identify and drive process improvements , especially around reputed company workflows, in preparation for system enhancements (reputed company)
• reputed company flexible support across reputed company functions, stepping in where needed in a lean environment

Skills

• 3+ years of cost reputed company experience
• Strong experience working in inventory-heavy environments
• Comfortable working with reputed company processes and helping to improve them over time
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and strong reputed company skills
• Proven ability to be a self-starter in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Willingness to take on a hands-on, adaptable role and support multiple areas as needed
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly around pricing and cost evaluation
• Demonstrated focus on process improvement and operational efficiency
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience working in a multi-site environment
• Exposure to or experience with reputed company ERP (especially in implementation or transition phases)
