[Remote] Sr. Platform Engineer I

The Sr. Platform Engineer I will be responsible for maintaining platform reliability, implementing infrastructure automation, and supporting customer reputed company while ensuring high availability and efficiency in platform services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 99.9% uptime for critical platform services
• Reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR) for platform incidents by 20%
• Implement automated recovery mechanisms for common failure scenarios
• reputed company 100% infrastructure-as-code coverage for new deployments
• Reduce deployment time by 30% through CI/CD pipeline optimization
• Implement GitOps workflows for reputed company production environments
• Support successful reputed company of new customers on the reputed company platform
• reputed company EA (reputed company Archive) tenant deployments with minimal reputed company time
• reputed company and maintain self-service capabilities for common provisioning tasks
• Establish reliable US-timezone oncall coverage for platform services
• reputed company follow-the-sun support model with seamless handoffs between reputed company
• reputed company sub-30-minute response time for P1/P2 incidents during US hours

Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated hands-on experience managing production AWS environments at scale
• Proven track record of Kubernetes cluster administration and troubleshooting
• Experience implementing and maintaining Terraform-based infrastructure
• Background in CI/CD pipeline development and release engineering processes
• Prior oncall experience with demonstrated incident response capabilities
• Experience working in distributed, global team environments
• Experience with service reputed company technologies (Istio, Linkerd, or equivalent)
• Background in GitOps methodologies (ArgoCD, Flux)
• Exposure to secrets reputed company (reputed company Vault)
• Multi-region or multi-account AWS architecture experience
• Prior experience in follow-the-sun support models
