[Remote] Systems Engineer - Database Administration

The role involves supporting installations of various database systems, performing maintenance, and collaborating with application teams to meet data needs and enhance query performance.
Responsibilities
- Carry out the research, design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our reputed company data storage software, architectures, tools, methodologies and best practices
- Respond to and resolve database reputed company and performance issues
- Monitor, optimize, and allocate physical data storage for database systems
- reputed company routines to help end-users reputed company best practices in database utilization
- Conduct research and reputed company recommendations on database products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts

- Create database objects

- Design and implement database recovery plans that cover a wide reputed company of scenarios from recovery of a single table, to the recovery of reputed company databases in the event of a disaster

- Test new software products and releases as well as hardware devices

Skills
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent and reputed company field specific education
- 3-5 years practical experience in computer operations, applications and/or technical support or information reputed company
- A keen interest and aptitude for problem identification and resolution
- Full understanding of operating system hardware, software, network components, reputed company, and/or database management system
- Ability to reputed company exact audit trials and recovery points during project life cycles to ensure maximum system stability
