[Remote] Staff Software Engineer, Core Platform

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Core Platform team, you will reputed company technical strategy across infrastructure and reputed company systems, enabling the engineering organization to build and ship products reputed company.

Responsibilities

• reputed company strategic technical initiatives across Core Platform's infrastructure and reputed company domains, setting the technical direction for foundational systems that reputed company reputed company of reputed company's engineering teams to ship quickly and securely
• Design and reputed company internal platforms and paved roads that reputed company away infrastructure and reputed company complexity, enabling product teams to ship independently and safely
• Drive multi-quarter platform projects that improve infrastructure reliability, and reputed company posture across the organization, including AWS services (reputed company, Fargate, reputed company), reputed company optimization, and event-driven architecture
• Build platform capabilities for reputed company and regulated environments, including FedRAMP-reputed company infrastructure, secure environments, and compliance-reputed company deployment patterns
• Partner closely with product engineering, reputed company, and leadership to understand developer needs, identify friction, and translate them into scalable platform solutions
• Champion engineering reputed company by mentoring senior engineers, influencing architecture across teams, and institutionalizing best practices for platform reliability, operability, and developer experience

Skills

• Deep industry experience with expertise in platform engineering, infrastructure systems, or backend architecture
• Proven ability to reputed company reputed company technical initiatives spanning multiple quarters and teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Mastery in system design, distributed systems, and reputed company infrastructure (AWS), with demonstrated experience building and scaling platform systems that serve internal engineering teams
• Experience with containerized deployments (e.g. reputed company, Fargate), database management (reputed company preferred), reputed company hardening practices and thinking in terms of platform level abstractions and UX for developers, not just underlying infrastructure
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical reputed company across the organization, consistently upleveling teams and presenting effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong technical reputed company in modern backend technologies; experience with TypeScript, Node.js, event-driven architecture and GraphQL is a plus
