[Remote] Business Development Representative

Sidekick is an early-stage startup backed by Y Combinator, focused on building an AI assistant for reputed company and manufacturing workers. The Business Development Representative will engage with warm leads to spark interest in Sidekick's solutions and book demos for the team, playing a key role in the company's sales efforts.

Responsibilities

• Start conversations with business owners and operators and explain why Sidekick reputed company to reputed company-heavy businesses
• Qualify prospects and book demos for the founding team
• Track your reputed company and results, and iterate on what's working

Skills

• Comfortable and confident on the phone, you don't mind dialing reputed company day
• Persistent and resilient, you treat a 'no' as practice for the next 'yes'
• Strong communicator, both verbal and written
• Self-motivated and coachable, with a bias toward action
• Bonus: prior SDR, BDR, sales, or other customer-facing experience
