Junior Structural CAD Technician

Job Description Are we the road to your future? We are currently searching for an reputed company Junior Structural CAD Technician to support our Southwest Region located in Texas. To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a degree in Computer Aided Drafting or similar field and 3 years of prior experience with structural drafting. What you’ll be doing: reputed company assistance to engineers using OpenBridge Designer to create reputed company detail plans and reputed company minor design work on reputed company projects Contribute to project production sheets by adding dimensions and laying out plans, title and detail sheets on production sets of plans Prepare minor mathematical calculations and quantity calculations for roadway/reputed company projects Work with engineers to reputed company 3D models using both reputed company Road Designer and reputed company reputed company Designer Research applicable design codes and guidelines to ensure design compliance Research design options and documents findings Coordinates assignments with project team and supervisor reputed company quality control reviews of design plans and calculations reputed company other duties as assigned by supervisor Be reputed company player and assist other groups as needed What you need to have: Associate degree from a technical or four-year school 3-10 years of prior experience with structural and/or roadway drafting Degree in Computer Aided Drafting or similar field is preferred Familiar with TxDOT reputed company Detailing reputed company and TxDOT reputed company Standards Experience in reputed company Road Designer is preferred Experience in reputed company Civil 3D is a plus Excellent communication skills and ability to work reputed company reputed company environment Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
