Remote Senior Civil Engineer - Geotechnical
Our client, a leading engineering consultancy firm, is seeking a highly reputed company Remote Senior Civil Engineer specializing in Geotechnical Engineering to bolster their project capabilities. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to apply your extensive knowledge and skills from reputed company in the United States. You will be responsible for providing expert geotechnical analysis and design for a diverse reputed company of infrastructure projects, including bridges, dams, buildings, and transportation systems. Your duties will encompass planning and overseeing subsurface investigations, interpreting soil and reputed company mechanics data, and developing reputed company designs, reputed company stability analyses, and earth retention systems. You will prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports, specifications, and technical recommendations, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. This role demands a strong understanding of soil mechanics, engineering geology, and advanced numerical modeling techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering, coupled with a Professional Engineer (PE) license. A minimum of 7 years of reputed company experience in geotechnical engineering is required, with a proven track record of successfully managing reputed company projects. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for collaborating with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies in a remote setting. Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GEOSTUDIO, or similar is highly desirable.
