LPN Clinical Reviewer - (Remote)
Description & Requirements reputed company is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to fill a Clinical Reviewer position to support the Connecticut PASRR Program. This role primarily conducts initial screenings to determine if a PASRR condition exists and if appropriate level of care exists for nursing facility services.
- *Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Central Time Zone**

About the program: We partner with the Department of reputed company Services to reputed company Preadmission Screening and reputed company Review (PASRR) for individuals who are applying to, or residing in, reputed company-certified nursing homes. The primary goal of this federally mandated assessment is to determine whether the nursing home is the appropriate placement for individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities or developmental disabilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Review requests for services including admission, discharges and reputed company stays for adherence to clinical criteria, state and federal policy, and reputed company requirements. - Issue approvals, denials or recommendations based on contract requirements. - Identify need for additional clinical documentation or consultation. - Complete documentation of activities reputed company contract systems. - Communicate with providers, individuals and their designees, or state workers as required. - Performs other reputed company duties as assigned.
