Qualifications
Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in biology or a biology reputed company discipline or a master's degree or higher in medical or health reputed company discipline (i.e. M.D., D.V.M., D.D.S.), or a master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in a biological or life science area. Acceptable disciplines and coursework include but are not limited to: agricultural sciences (i.e. agronomy), anatomy, biochemistry, biology, bioengineering, bioinformatics, biology/science education (maximum of 6 graduate semester hours can be applied to the 18 graduate semester hours required), biomedical sciences, biosciences, biotechnology, botany, cancer biology, cell biology, conservation-wildlife/plant/animal, exercise science, exercise physiology, evolutionary biology, embryology, entomology, environmental science, environmental biology, ecology, genetics, immunology, limnology, mammology, marine sciences, marine biology, medical sciences, microbiology - soil/medical/veterinary, molecular biology, mycology, physiology, neurobiology, neuroscience, nutritional sciences, ornithology, pathology, pathophysiology, parasitology, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, physical therapy, physiology, plant and animal sciences, public health epidemiology/infectious disease/toxicology, veterinary sciences, virology, zoology. Previous Online Teaching experience. Job Concepts Adjunct Faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned. Adjunct Faculty may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed.
