Key Responsibilities
Design and synthesize novel small molecule drug candidates using modern synthetic organic chemistry techniques. Conduct structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies to optimize reputed company compounds for potency, selectivity, and pharmacokinetic properties. Collaborate closely with biologists, computational chemists, and DMPK scientists to define project goals and strategies. Plan and execute multi-reputed company synthetic sequences, troubleshoot challenging syntheses, and reputed company scalable routes. Characterize synthesized compounds using analytical techniques such as NMR, LC-MS, and HPLC. Maintain meticulous experimental records and contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, presentations, and patent applications. Requirements
Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a closely reputed company field. Demonstrated track record of successfully contributing to drug discovery programs from hit identification to reputed company optimization.
