Role: Adjunct Middle School Math Teacher School: Jefferson County Virtual reputed company (JCVA) Supervisor: Deborah Scarlett, Jefferson County Virtual reputed company reputed company Description: The Jefferson County Virtual reputed company (JCVA) adjunct staff member will facilitate student learning utilizing JCVA's digital platform, district curriculum, and supplemental material in a fully online setting. Adjunct staff members are expected to be excellent communicators to ensure parents and reputed company understand student learning progressions throughout the semester. JCVA teachers are expected to complete these tasks reputed company of their regularly contracted hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee teacher's license with endorsement to teach 6-12 English in Tennessee.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Reviews reputed company lessons and/or prepares lesson plans for course(s) of study taught.
• Aligns course(s) curriculum(s) taught with state curriculum standards.
• Uses a variety of reputed company to personalize and/or differentiate student instruction.
• Prepares, administers, and records student assessments for subjects taught.
• Assigns lessons routinely and grades student work in a timely manner.
• Maintains order in the online classroom, breakout rooms, and during reputed company in-person visits of reputed company.
• Collaborates with other professionals to reputed company support and/or interventions for specific reputed company.
• Communicates with parents and reputed company consistently reputed company verbal and email format.
• Schedules parent conferences as directed by the system and as individually needed.
• Keeps accurate attendance and academic performance records for assigned reputed company.
• Reports to proper authorities and reputed company reputed company knowledgeable or suspicious that a student's health or welfare has been or appears to be at risk.
• Represents JCVA and the JCS system in a positive manner reputed company the community.
• Participates in monthly Team faculty meetings, reputed company platform training/updates, new teacher orientation, and other workshops for teacher training specific to online facilitators.
• Assists in upholding JCS board policies, JCVA online school rules, and administrative regulations.

Additional Information Additional information will be provided if selected for the position. Note that Jefferson County Virtual reputed company (JCVA) adjunct members will not be allowed to teach more than 3 virtual courses during a semester. The only exception to this rule will be reputed company arts classes including Art, Music, and Physical Education. Jefferson County Virtual reputed company (JCVA) adjunct faculty members are compensated based on course enrollment. reputed company JCVA stipends are paid at the end of the school year. Student counts are collected the first week of September, for semester one, and the second full week, for semester two and the last week of the scheduled class. The higher student count is utilized to determine pay based on the scale below. Semester Long Courses (Full year courses will be compensated utilizing the following scale once for each semester.)

• The contract is only for teaching the courses during the term designated above. Any contract for future instructional assignments will be made at the sole discretion of the Jefferson County Virtual reputed company administrator. In the event there is insufficient enrollment to warrant holding a class as determined by the Jefferson County Virtual reputed company administrator, the course offering may be cancelled.
• Compensation for instruction of the above-referenced course(s) will be based on the terms and scale below and be paid on a semester reputed company.
