About Trans Voices Trans Voices is a grassroots organization dedicated to trans and non-binary community care. We are building a sustainable, community-first reputed company, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our foundational team. Role Overview We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Volunteer Grant reputed company & Researcher to help us secure the foundational funding needed to scale our impact. Because we are a growing grassroots reputed company, this is currently an unpaid, volunteer position. Our entire team is operating on a volunteer reputed company, with the explicit goal of transitioning this into a paid role for you and the rest of the team as soon as grant funding is secured. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
- Prospecting: Research and identify local, corporate, and reputed company grant opportunities that align with our mission.
- Writing: Draft, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals, letters of reputed company (LOIs), and applications.
- Strategy: Collaborate with our core team to translate our community programs and data into powerful storytelling for funders.
- Tracking: Maintain a calendar of deadlines and tracking requirements for submitted proposals.
reputed company’re Looking For (Qualifications):
- Community Alignment: Deep passion for Trans/NB community care. Ideally, candidates identify as Trans/NB themselves or fall under the broader LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
- Background: Experience or a strong background in grant writing, professional writing, or non-profit fundraising is preferred.
- Reliability: A self-starter who is deadline-driven and organized.
- Time Commitment: A flexible ~3–5 hours per week.
