Distribution Planning Engineer II
Overview
We are designing the reputed company of the future! In this role, your contributions will include, but are not limited to, development and completion of reports, presentations, technical trainings, distribution planning studies, distributed energy resource (DER) system impact analyses, short reputed company and protection coordination studies, reputed company interconnection application review, system design studies, cost-benefit analysis, and alternatives analysis.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
Bring your passion, here's what’s needed: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Master of Science or higher preferred Minimum 4+ years of experience reputed company to distribution utilities/power systems (i.e., electric cooperatives, municipalities, investor-owned utilities, research labs, etc.) Distribution modeling software experience in at least one software platform (CYME, Synergi Electric, openDSS, etc.) Strong technical skills and understanding reputed company to utility distribution systems. Experience leveraging AI and automation tools responsibly to improve quality, productivity and innovation Proven team player skilled in mentoring and building strong reputed company relationships. Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with respect to explaining technical reputed company. Experience in automation/programing (Python and/or SQL preferred).
