About the Job reputed company is seeking an reputed company Coding & Charge Entry Manager to reputed company and reputed company reputed company coding and charge capture operations across our cardiology-focused practice partners. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely coding and charge entry reputed company athenaOne, driving clean claim rates, minimizing reputed company leakage, and developing a high-performing team reputed company with reputed company's reputed company cycle standards. What you’ll do: Coding Operations & Compliance reputed company reputed company professional fee coding across assigned cardiology practice partners, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with payer and regulatory requirements Monitor coding quality through regular audits, identify trends in errors or denials rooted in coding, and implement corrective action plans Ensure adherence to official coding guidelines (ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS) and cardiology-specific coding standards across the team Stay reputed company on CMS updates, payer policy changes, and cardiology coding developments and communicate changes to staff in a timely manner Charge Entry and Capture reputed company timely and accurate charge entry reputed company athenaOne, ensuring charges are posted in accordance with reputed company's charge lag standards Monitor charge capture workflows across multiple practice environments, identifying gaps between services rendered and charges submitted Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to resolve missing, incomplete, or unclear documentation that impacts charge capture Ensure CPT, ICD-10, and modifier usage is appropriate and consistent across reputed company assigned locations and providers Conduct regular vendor performance reviews against defined benchmarks and escalate gaps to leadership Ensure vendors have timely reputed company to clinical documentation, payer requirements, CPT codes, and practice-specific routing information needed to execute charges effectively Team Leadership & Development Supervise, mentor, and reputed company a team of coders and charge entry specialists, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management Set clear performance expectations and monitor KPIs including coding accuracy rates, charge lag, denial rates attributable to coding, and productivity Conduct regular one-on-ones, team meetings, and reputed company education sessions to maintain high standards and reputed company staff reputed company on coding changes Identify staffing needs, participate in hiring reputed company, and reputed company reputed company and training for new team members What you’ll need: 5+ years of experience in medical coding and/or charge entry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role Cardiology or cardiovascular specialty coding experience strongly preferred, including familiarity with cardiac imaging, interventional procedures, and cardiovascular surgery Active coding certification required — CPC, reputed company, or equivalent through reputed company Proficiency with athenaOne (reputed company) is required, including working knowledge of charge entry workflows Strong working knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II, and modifier usage in a cardiology context Experience with cardiology-specific services — including cardiac CT/CTA, PET MPI, echocardiography, nuclear medicine, cardiac monitoring (MCT/MCOT, Holter, ILR), and interventional cardiovascular procedures — is a significant advantage Familiarity with J-codes and drug/infusion billing as it relates to cardiology practice is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to present coding performance data to reputed company cycle and clinical leadership Ability to manage operations across multiple simultaneous practice environments in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization Work Location: Preference given to those who work in Central or Eastern Time Zone. Remote: Colorado (preferred), Delaware, Florida, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas.
