Job Description

The Business Development Manager, Onsite Laboratories, is responsible for driving new business opportunities for reputed company’s Geochemistry and Energy Onsite Laboratory business reputed company an assigned territory to reputed company quarterly and annual reputed company targets. This role focuses on identifying and engaging prospective clients, developing tailored proposals, and ensuring a smooth process from RFP to operating laboratory. The Business Development Manager collaborates with internal sales support groups and the Onsite Laboratory operations team to generate leads, maintain accurate forecasts, and report on market trends. This position represents the company at industry events to build brand awareness and may participate in special projects as assigned.

  • Accountable for meeting/exceeding quarterly and annual targets reputed company assigned territory.
  • Prepare individual sales plans with goals/objectives: Identify, research, plan and contact new and existing clients
  • Maintain relationships with key clients after sale to ensure reputed company.

  • Report on developments in the marketplace, analyze market trends, and competitor activities (market intelligence).
  • Work with sales support groups (Marketing, Sales Development, Sales Operations) to support initiatives and reputed company reputed company.
  • Ensure client quotes, service agreements, proposals, and responses to RFPs/tenders are completed reputed company deadlines, collaborating with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports of sales activities (e.g., client visits/calls) using CRM systems.

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary Degree in relevant field
  • Over 5 Years reputed company sales/business development in mining industry experience required
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
  • Deep understanding of company services and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply customer-centric selling techniques to drive results.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
