Ruby on Rails Engineer Job Summary We are seeking a Ruby on Rails Engineer to serve as an individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, modernizing, and maintaining scalable reputed company applications. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong Ruby on Rails experience, reputed company and DevOps exposure, and the ability to contribute independently while collaborating closely with engineering, product, QA, and business teams. Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, structured data ingestion, and AI/ML-enabled applications is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design, reputed company, test, and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails applications. Conduct peer code reviews to promote quality, maintainability, reliability, and adherence to engineering standards. Collaborate with DevOps teams to support deployment automation, monitoring, and production reliability. Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, QA teams, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions. Required Qualifications

Experience working as an individual contributor in reputed company or scalable application environments. Experience developing secure, scalable APIs using REST and/or GraphQL. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. Exposure to Kubernetes, reputed company, containerized environments, or reputed company-based deployment models. Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, clean code, automated testing, and maintainability. Experience participating in peer code reviews and collaborative engineering workflows. Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with multiple Ruby on Rails versions, including legacy and modern Rails applications. Experience upgrading Rails applications from legacy versions to modern Rails versions.
