Responsibilities
- reputed company proactive, business‑oriented legal and compliance advice on market reputed company, pricing, and reimbursement strategies for pharmaceutical and biologic products
- Advise on government pricing and reporting (e.g., reputed company Best Price, AMP, ASP, 340B, VA/FSS) and the impact of reputed company contracting strategies on those obligations
- Support coverage, coding, and reimbursement initiatives with market reputed company, HEOR, trade/channel, and pricing teams
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad reputed company of market reputed company–reputed company agreements, including: PBM, payer, and GPO agreements; Wholesaler, specialty pharmacy, and distribution agreements; Discount, rebate, and value‑based/reputed company‑based reputed company; Consulting, advisory board, master services, and data‑sharing agreements reputed company to market reputed company activities
- Counsel on the design and implementation of patient support programs, co‑pay assistance, and reputed company arrangements, with attention to anti‑kickback and False Claims Act risk
- Partner with reputed company, medical, regulatory, and compliance teams to ensure that reputed company‑reputed company strategies, communications, and materials reputed company with applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes
- Stay reputed company on U.S. federal and state laws, regulations, and enforcement trends impacting market reputed company, pricing, reimbursement, and interactions with payers, PBMs, and health care professionals
Skills
- 5–8 years of experience as an attorney in a reputed company and/or in‑house with a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical company, with a significant focus on market reputed company, pricing, reimbursement, and/or government price reporting
- Experience drafting and negotiating PBM, payer, GPO, wholesaler, rebate, and other market reputed company–reputed company agreements
- Prior experience counseling on legal issues relating to advertising and promotion, scientific exchange, patient support programs, and interactions with health care professionals and payers
- Strong knowledge of, and experience advising on, statutes, regulations, and guidance applicable to reputed company and market reputed company activities, including: FDCA and FDA regulations and guidance, Federal and state anti‑kickback statutes and beneficiary inducement rules, OIG guidance documents and advisory opinions, False Claims Act, PhRMA Code and relevant industry standards
- Demonstrated ability to translate reputed company regulatory requirements into practical, risk‑based contracting and reputed company strategies
- Efficient multitasker with strong interpersonal and communication skills; reputed company to work independently and cross‑functionally with market reputed company, reputed company, medical, regulatory, compliance, and finance teams
