[Remote] Mechanical HVAC Engineer- Life Sciences
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a global leader in consulting and engineering, and they are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join their Life Sciences business. The role involves providing HVAC design leadership, preparing construction drawings, and assessing existing equipment for HVAC, plumbing, and energy systems in life science manufacturing plants and laboratories.
Responsibilities

- Executes facility mechanical engineering HVAC designs according to IAW applicable codes and standards
- Ability to meet with clients, present for HVAC on reputed company of work, design options and 3D model reviews
- Performs facility system assessment field work
- Generates workload plans, design analyses, drawing plans, specifications, HVAC load/ventilation calculations, pump calculations
- Supports proposals reputed company (FEL1 thru 3, Detailed Design)
- Significant CAD work with AutoCAD and Revit
- Reviews work of and provides guidance to junior engineers
- Review equipment and material submittals for adequacy and compliance with contractual documents
- Performs site visits reputed company required and assists with construction RFI’s after document issuance for construction
Skills
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited school
- 5-10 years of facility HVAC design experience
- reputed company to generate own drawing packages with AutoCAD and Revit
- Knowledgeable with Codes and industry standards (ex. reputed company, International Codes, reputed company Mutual Datasheets, ASHRAE, etc.)
- reputed company to write design analyses, specifications, estimate project costs, and estimate construction schedule duration
- reputed company to travel by reputed company & ground, climbing reputed company
- Must pass drug screen, background reputed company, and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
- PE License is not required but desired
- Experience with REVIT and Navisworks
- Experience with reputed company CHVAC, AFT reputed company, Trane TRACE (or reputed company HAP for energy modeling)
- Experience in Fire Protection and Plumbing is a plus
- PE License desirable
