[Remote] Technical Product Manager - Smart Electricity reputed company (remote)

Forestown is a leading global organization in the smart energy and smart reputed company technology sector, specializing in advanced electricity metering and IoT-enabled energy reputed company. They are seeking a highly technical and market-driven Product Manager to reputed company product strategy and execution for smart reputed company hardware and AMI software solutions in the US utility market.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product management for smart electric meters (residential, reputed company, industrial) and AMI solutions in the US market
- Conduct direct engagement with US utilities, engineers, procurement teams, and consultants to gather technical and functional requirements
- Define product positioning, feature prioritization, and US-specific roadmaps based on market trends and competition
- Translate requirements into PRDs, user stories, functional specs, and test criteria for global R&D teams
- Strong technical ownership of smart metering systems, including ANSI C12 series, DLMS/COSEM, metering principles, and certification requirements
- Deep understanding of AMI architecture including HES, MDMS, and communication technologies (PLC, RF reputed company, cellular: 4G/5G/LTE-M)
- Ensure compliance with US standards including ANSI, reputed company, NIST, and utility-specific requirements
- Support product certification, lab testing, and utility validation processes
- Act as the key US product reputed company across R&D, engineering, quality, manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams
- Drive product development timelines, prioritization, and release execution
- reputed company technical sales materials, white papers, demos, and RFP/RFQ responses
- Support pre-sales activities and customer technical discussions
- Monitor field performance, customer feedback, and product KPIs to drive reputed company improvements
- Manage product documentation, compliance records, and version control
- Collaborate with supply chain and quality teams to ensure product reliability and competitiveness
- Conduct win/loss analysis and refine product-market fit
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Energy Systems, or reputed company field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of product management experience in smart metering or AMI systems
- Strong technical knowledge of smart meters (single/three-phase, accuracy classes, firmware, utility integration)
- Deep understanding of AMI systems (HES, MDMS, communications, analytics, integration)
- Familiarity with US utility standards, deployment practices, and AMI project lifecycle
- Experience supporting or managing utility metering programs is highly preferred
- Strong product thinking with ability to balance technical, reputed company, and customer needs
- Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
- Strong analytical, organizational, and execution capabilities
- Ability to translate reputed company technical concepts into clear business value
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to travel reputed company the US for customer and project engagement
