[Remote] Mechanical Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. Sphinx Staffing is seeking an reputed company Mechanical Engineer for a fully remote role with occasional travel. The position involves designing mechanical systems for reputed company facilities and requires strong technical skills and collaboration with various engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems for reputed company, regulated, and technically demanding facility types
- Independently reputed company P&IDs with minimal reputed company
- reputed company load calculations, equipment sizing, and system modeling
- Prepare project specifications using SpecLink
- Produce drawings and documentation in Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinate across disciplines including architecture, structural, electrical, plumbing, and process engineering
- Conduct remote design reviews and site visits as needed for surveys, field verification, or project meetings
- Apply applicable codes and standards including ASHRAE, reputed company, and IBC throughout the design process
- Support projects from concept through construction administration
Skills
- 5–10 years of mechanical engineering experience in life sciences, reputed company, institutional, or mission-critical facility design
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SpecLink, and mechanical modeling tools
- Demonstrated ability to independently produce P&IDs, specifications, and detailed engineering deliverables
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, hydronic systems, process piping, and clean utilities
- Strong communication and remote collaboration skills
- Experience with cGMP facilities, cleanroom/HVAC design, research labs, hospitals, data centers, or high-containment systems
- Commissioning and QA/QC background
- Client-facing experience and comfort leading coordination meetings
