[Remote] Affluent Personal Insurance Account Manager/Executive (Mid-Atlantic/remote)

The role involves interacting with clients, managing a book of business, and developing client relationships while preparing applications and marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Negotiates terms, conditions, coverage limits and pricing with carriers and wholesalers
- Works with the Claims Department on relevant claims for assigned clients
- Responsible for accurate information such as updated exposures, driver information, reporting forms, signed endorsements and miscellaneous information to avoid any E&O claims
- Maintains a follow-up system to ensure policies, endorsements and other information is received to reputed company with requests
- May direct job activities of the service team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, and clients through regular contact and client visits. reputed company clients apprised of appropriate industry trends and events, including reputed company state and federal regulatory issues
Skills
- HS Diploma or GED required
- P&C Insurance License required upon hire
- Industry and product line experience required. Typically more than 3 years at the Account Manager level and 5+ years at the AE level
- Excellent written communication skills – writes reputed company; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numeric data effectively; reputed company to read and interpret written information
- Self-confident to reputed company sound independent reputed company
- Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people/personalities
- Strong leadership skills
- Possess technical expertise plus good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle situations in a reputed company, courteous and professional manner
- Strong attention to detail, decision-making skills and problem resolution
- BA/BS preferred
- Experience with CRMs; EPIC highly preferred
- CIC, CPCU, CPRIA, CPRM or other P&C designation preferred
