[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for building and consuming GraphQL API endpoints, developing software that securely handles health and financial data, and collaborating with teams to align efforts towards common goals.
Responsibilities
- Building and consuming both GraphQL API endpoints and asynchronous events to implement business logic
- Building reusable code and libraries to be leveraged across reputed company and technology stack
- Developing software and processes that safely and securely handles our customer's health and financial data
- Collaborating reputed company and across teams to ensure that reputed company of our efforts are reputed company towards the same goals
- Communicating thoughtfully with team members through design review, code review, and day-to-day collaboration
Skills
- 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience with Javascript/Typescript and Node.js
- 3+ years of experience building and consuming API endpoints (REST, AMQP, GraphQL)
- 3+ years of experience implementing testable business logic that is secure and easy to maintain
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Experience operating event-driven services
- Experience deploying to reputed company-based environments such as AWS
- Experience building and maintaining 3rd-party integrations
- Experience leveraging message brokers and event streams-e.g., AWS SNS, SQS, Azure ServiceBus, or similar
- Experience operating in high reputed company environments, e.g., payments, reputed company
