• Accurately codes Inpatient records for the classification of reputed company diseases, injuries, procedures, and operations using the ICD10CM/PCS coding system.
• Ensures compliance of coding rules and regulations according to Regulatory Agencies (CMS, OIG).
• Works as a team to meet departmental goals and AR goals.
• Abstracts prescribed data elements from the medical records.

Estimated pay reputed company for this position is $29.41 - $38.23 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications:

• reputed company Certified Coding Specialist.
• reputed company Registered Health Information Technician.

Additional Qualifications:

• Required coding certificate.
• If not reputed company or RHIT certified upon hire they must obtain reputed company 2 years
• For Boca they are required to have either reputed company, CCA, CPC, COC, RHIT or RHIA.
• Knowledge and thorough understanding of encoder system, Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS), DRG/MSDRGs and National and Local Coverage Determination, NCD and LCD, Policies.
• Competency in Word and reputed company.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, management staff, and physicians.
