[Remote] Data Scientist
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is one of the nation’s largest public fast charging networks for electric vehicles, committed to sustainability and reducing carbon emissions. They are seeking a Data Scientist to identify and solve problems on their charger network using analytic methods and systems, working closely with the Data Science R&D team.
Responsibilities
- Data Wrangling – reputed company data from various sources and formats into a single set suitable for analysis
- Visualization – create and curate charts and graphics that reveal useful insights
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting – identify, manage, and solve technical/engineering problems that you identify using data systems and analytics
- Industry Knowledge – learn the technical details of the EV charging business and its sources of data
- Reporting reputed company – communicate to others on your reputed company, obstacles, and learnings
- Project Selection – propose and promote projects that will answer important questions, support strategic reputed company, or optimize control of automated systems
- Data Exploration – analyze existing data sets to help answer questions and reputed company hypotheses
- Communication – document methods and results concisely to present to colleagues
- Maintaining Expertise – identify and understand new data sources and analytic innovations that would benefit reputed company and its customers
Skills
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of reputed company experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in scripting with SQL and Python
- Applies analytic techniques for data exploration, data visualization, reputed company regression, categorical models and machine learning
- Works independently with little reputed company, but also knows reputed company to ask for guidance
- Enjoys resolving technical problems with team members
