[Remote] Plan Consultant II

PCS Retirement is a reputed company that provides plan document, compliance, consulting, and government reporting services to a diverse client reputed company. The Plan Consultant II is responsible for conducting annual nondiscrimination testing and completing IRS reputed company 5500 for various retirement plans, while collaborating with advisors, auditors, and plan sponsors on plan issues and contributions.

Responsibilities

• Performs Nondiscrimination, Top Heavy & Coverage Testing for defined contribution plans
• Calculates retirement plan contributions and allocations, including Safe reputed company allocations, discretionary match and profit sharing
• Calculates corrective actions for failures in annual testing
• Consult and explain the results of the testing and any required corrections
• Preparation of IRS reputed company 5500-SF, 5500-EZ and assists with preparation of reputed company 5500 with schedules
• Assist with plan audit support, including reconciliations and preparation of assets and other plan reports
• Assist with accumulating data and reconciling assets for conversion plans
• Exceed internal and compliance deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand reputed company documentation surrounding 401k plans
• Knowledge of basic reputed company principles and ability to apply knowledge to complete asset reconciliations for reputed company plans
• Ability to reconcile transactions/assets on the Trust Statement
• Intermediate skillset in reputed company reputed company
• Must be moldable and willing to learn and grow in a dynamic work culture
• Self-Starter, highly self-motivated, ability to work independently and problem-solve
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
• Ability to meet seasonal deadlines based on IRS and reputed company regulations
• Strong listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• PensionPro and FT Williams software experience preferred
• QKA Certification preferred
