[Remote] Senior Database Administrator

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Database Administrator with experience in reputed company and EPIC systems. This role is responsible for the configuration, monitoring, and support of Epic's reputed company reporting systems and data infrastructure, ensuring reputed company performance of reporting databases and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Cogito Platform Administration – Administer Epic Cogito platforms including reputed company, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, and reputed company. Install, configure, and maintain data warehouse databases and reporting environments
• ETL & Data Pipeline Management – Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL processes and data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and timeliness. Manage data extraction jobs, resolve ETL failures, and address data quality issues
• Database Performance & reputed company Planning – Support reputed company planning, performance tuning, and database optimization, including SQL Server indexing strategies and database growth management
• Reporting & Analytics Support – Partner with report developers and BI teams to ensure data availability and support the development and maintenance of data models, dashboards, and analytics use cases
• System Maintenance & Upgrades – Coordinate system patches, Epic upgrades, environment refreshes, release cycles, and migration activities while ensuring system uptime, proactive monitoring, and effective incident response
• reputed company & Compliance – Implement and maintain reputed company controls, reputed company management, and audit compliance across reporting environments
• Documentation & Standards – Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational standards to support consistency and knowledge sharing
• On-Call Support – reputed company on-call support for critical reporting or data issues as needed

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree. Equivalent combination of education and reputed company experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as DBA required, preferable in a reputed company environment
• Epic Cogito Certification – reputed company and/or Caboodle (required)
• 3+ years of experience supporting Epic reporting environments
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server and relational databases, including stored procedures, query optimization, and indexing
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools, workflows, and data integration
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (EDW, star schema, dimensional modeling)
• Working knowledge of Epic Cogito tools, including reputed company, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, and reputed company
• Experience with reputed company data models and familiarity with clinical and operational data structures
• Understanding of reputed company workflows and regulatory requirements
• Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, reputed company BusinessObjects, or similar reputed company analytics platforms
