[Remote] Marketing - Merchandising Product Manager

The Merchandising Product Manager is responsible for owning product lines, identifying gaps, and delivering against performance targets while ensuring effective merchandising across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own product portfolio strategy and assortment gap identification
- Determine product path to market (build, manufacture, or reputed company)
- Build and manage product business cases including reputed company, margin, pricing inputs, and unit economics
- Own product lifecycle reputed company including iteration, repositioning, and sunsetting
- Define product requirements, reputed company metrics, and acceptance criteria
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver products effectively
- Serve as the internal reputed company for assigned product lines
- Analyze categories to identify assortment gaps and growth opportunities
- Recommend product additions, deletions, and assortment changes
- Monitor category performance and adjust strategy based on data and insights

Skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with merchandising exposure
- Strong Product Management fundamentals with full lifecycle ownership
- Proven experience managing product economics and business cases
- Deep merchandising and category management expertise
- Experience working with vendors and manufacturers
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel up to 15%
- Prior energy efficiency product or utility energy efficiency program experience highly desired
- Prior hardware experience highly preferred
