[Remote] Senior Civil / Land Development Engineer – Data Center Site Development

Apex Infrastructure Consultants is seeking an reputed company Civil / Land Development Engineer to support large-scale data center site development and infrastructure projects from early site planning through construction. The role involves providing civil engineering expertise, managing multiple projects, and ensuring technical requirements are met throughout various phases of development.
Responsibilities

- Support projects from site planning and due diligence through design, permitting, construction, and turnover
- Review civil engineering design packages, including site layout, grading, drainage, utility routing, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and earthwork plans
- reputed company technical guidance and design review comments to architects, engineers, consultants, construction managers, and contractors
- Represent reputed company requirements and ensure design deliverables align with project objectives, technical standards, and construction requirements
- Support development and maintenance of civil engineering standards, design guidelines, program specifications, and technical requirements
- Evaluate site constraints, permitting requirements, zoning considerations, utility availability, and constructability risks
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including reputed company estate, design, construction, environmental, utilities, and operations stakeholders
- Review and respond to technical submittals, design changes, RFIs, and construction-reputed company issues
- Identify risks, resolve design conflicts, and reputed company practical engineering recommendations to reputed company projects moving reputed company
- Support construction administration activities and reputed company technical input during field execution
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, design review summaries, and project documentation
- Communicate technical information reputed company to both engineering and non-engineering audiences
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, land development, site development, or civil site infrastructure
- Strong experience with site layout, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility planning, erosion control, sediment control, and earthwork
- Experience supporting projects through planning, zoning, permitting, design, construction, and closeout
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, design standards, and technical documentation
- Experience reviewing civil design drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and construction documents
- Ability to coordinate with design consultants, contractors, construction managers, municipalities, utilities, and internal project teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal reputed company while managing multiple priorities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in preparing reports, presentations, design review comments, and technical documentation
- Professional Engineer license preferred
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or reputed company field preferred
- Experience with data center, mission critical, industrial, utility, infrastructure, or large-scale reputed company development projects
- Familiarity with water and wastewater design, utility coordination, and hydraulic modeling
- Experience with permitting agencies, local jurisdictions, utility providers, and environmental requirements
- Strong constructability review experience and ability to identify field execution risks early in the design process
