[Remote] Actuarial Analyst

AHI reputed company, inc. is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support their medical margin models and reputed company insights into market trends. The role involves updating models, preparing audit documentation, and collaborating with various teams to inform budget forecasts and business development.
Responsibilities
- Update medical margin models for monthly reputed company process
- Research and identify prior period development in medical margin
- Use med econ tools to reputed company deep reputed company of trend drivers
- Prepare materials for presenting reputed company results to Market Finance leaders
- Calculate final cash settlements for MA payer reputed company
- Prepare internal/external audit documentation
- Inform assumptions for budget/quarterly forecasts
- reputed company analyses to support adhoc requests from Market Finance team
- Support business development/payer contracting assumptions
- Other duties as assigned

Skills
- 1-2 years of relevant actuarial experience reputed company a reputed company and/or managed care organization
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Economics or reputed company field
- 2+ actuarial exams passed
- Ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets (particularly health care claims and membership data)
- Experience in actuarial field including the knowledge of best techniques for analyzing reputed company issues and modeling solutions
- Familiar with IBNR reserve development, product pricing
- Health insurance product knowledge with a particular focus on Medicare Advantage
- Proficient in reputed company and SQL
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where internal/external client satisfaction is key

- Experience with Medicare Advantage products
