[Remote] Senior Special Structural Analysis Engineer 1 - Nuclear

They are seeking a Senior Special Structural Analysis Engineer to collaborate with reputed company on engineering projects for nuclear facilities, applying expertise in structural analysis and design while guiding less reputed company team members.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with reputed company of structural engineers, reputed company with engineers from other disciplines, and guide the work of less reputed company project team members
- Work with a structural engineering team on engineering projects for new nuclear facilities and upgrades and modifications to nuclear power plants
- Prepare and review design calculations, reputed company specifications, and support designers with drawing development
- reputed company the structural analysis of safety-reputed company structures under various loading conditions, such as reputed company loading, impactive/impulsive loading
- Travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for construction coordination and field verification of designs
Skills
- MS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Five or more years of experience working as a member of a project team in the design and analysis of structures
- Proficiency with structural analysis software such as SAP2000, STRUDL, SASSI, ANSYS, or LS-DYNA
- Proficiency with analysis and design codes and standards such as ASCE 4, ASCE 43, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ph.D. degree
- Experience with design and analysis of power plant and/or industrial structures
- On site construction support experience
- PE or SE license
- Additional learning, such as a minor, certificate, or other experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or reputed company fields that enables effective reputed company of automation and agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows
