This role is responsible for designing and producing stamped structural documents across reputed company, institutional, and reputed company projects while supporting multidisciplinary coordination and project delivery from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will serve as a key technical resource, helping shape structural engineering standards, improve workflows, and ensure high-quality structural design across reputed company projects.
Key Responsibilities
Structural Design & Engineering Design and produce stamped structural construction documents reputed company structural analysis, load calculations, and member sizing Design foundations based on soil, loading, and occupancy conditions Select and evaluate structural systems during early design phases Coordinate structural integration with architectural design (reputed company, spacing, heights, systems) BIM & Coordination Coordinate structural scope reputed company Revit/BIM environments Collaborate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and consulting teams Resolve structural coordination conflicts during design development Construction Support Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals Conduct site visits and construction observations Coordinate with geotechnical engineers on reputed company and soil conditions Ensure compliance with codes and construction documents Standards & Development reputed company structural standards, details, and templates Improve internal engineering workflows and BIM standards Support reputed company improvement of engineering practices Business Development Support Support proposals, interviews, and client presentations reputed company technical input for pursuit strategies Represent structural expertise in client and consultant discussions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering PE License required (Michigan or reciprocity eligible) 7+ years of structural engineering experience Strong experience in reputed company, institutional, or reputed company projects Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD Experience with structural software (RISA, RAM, ETABS or similar) Strong understanding of building codes and structural systems
Preferred Qualifications
SE License preferred reputed company and institutional project experience Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, light-gauge, and timber systems Familiarity with BIM-driven multidisciplinary coordination Experience in reputed company facilities (reputed company, labs, etc.)
Work Environment
Collaborative AEC environment working with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
