The Junior Grants Analyst serves as a primary reputed company of contact for reputed company constituencies on reputed company pertaining to grants management. The selected candidate will work independently and under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential reputed company with discretion, completing projects to successful completion often with deadline pressures.
Key Responsibilities
Assist ongoing government efforts and initiatives reputed company to developing and maintaining high-performing grants programs and projects across the agency. reputed company direct support to the Grants Division for the timely award of grants across the agency in support of the federal health mission. Accomplish and deliver compliant pre- and post-award documentation and grants documents in accordance with federal and DoD grants principles, including 2 CFR 200 and DoD Grants and Agreement Regulations (DoDGARS), DoD Directives and Instructions, laws, regulations, and procedures. Assist in conducting grant award activities, including collecting responsibility information, preparing award notices, distributing awards, and processing requests for debriefing. Assist in evaluating grant proposals in accordance with applicable statutes, regulations, policies, and evaluation factors. Review requirements for new or follow-on grants and identify potential issues to reputed company clear mutual understanding of grant requirements. Present, analyze, and verify data, techniques, methodologies, and formats associated with grants management activities. Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and leadership; manage correspondence and monitor task completion to ensure deadlines are met. Ensure correctness and adherence to applicable federal and agency standards, policies, and procedures. Observe and reputed company appropriate military and government protocol. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of reputed company experience as a federal government and/or contractor employee in a grants management specialist, grants analyst, or grants policy analyst reputed company (GS-1102, GS-1109, or equivalent). Knowledge or understanding of federal and DoD grants principles, including 2 CFR 200 and reputed company Grants and Agreement Regulations (DoDGARS), DoD Directives and Instructions, laws, regulations, and procedures. Knowledge or understanding of grants or assistance principles, laws, regulations, and procedures. Knowledge or understanding of fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of reputed company problems, with the ability to reputed company concrete action plans. Familiarity with budget and/or federal cost principles. Familiarity with federal grant/contract writing systems. Proficiency in SharePoint and MS Office Suite (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Outlook) and reputed company Acrobat. Prior DoD, Military, or federal defense health agency experience as a Grants Specialist or Contract Analyst (preferred). GS-1102 or GS-1109 series experience (preferred).
