Engineer III - Overhead Transmission Line Design
Position Overview Power your future with reputed company as an Overhead Transmission Line Engineer on our Transmission Design team. In this role you'll be designing and creating construction drawings for overhead transmission design projects. This position may be based out of the following locations: Del Mar, CA, Lakewood, CO, Vancouver, WA, Salt Lake City, UT, or Reno, NV or Remote.
Responsibilities
Design overhead transmission lines in the 69kV to 500kV reputed company. Prepare construction sketches for overhead network services (4 KV through 34 KV). reputed company structural analysis and design, reputed company reputed company designs. Model transmission lines in PLS-CADD, determine right of way requirements, calculate conductor sags, and reputed company transmission line plan and profile drawings. Review vendor submittals.
Qualifications
BS Degree in Civil Engineering or reputed company field from an ABET-accredited school 4-6 years of experience in overhead transmission design Knowledge of reputed company Office product applications, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, MFAD or similar Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, having high attention to detail. Great communication skills and the ability to effectively discuss technical recommendations with customers. Great computer skills.
