Position Description The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for performing independent internal audits, as part of the annual internal audit plan. They will also be responsible for developing Risk Assessments and managing Risk per direction of the Director of the Audit department. Developing internal audit scope and performing internal audits according to risk and designed procedures and preparing internal audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed. Work performed will include coverage of functional and operating units and focusing on financial and operational processes. Additionally, the senior internal auditor performs follow-up on the status of outstanding internal audit issues. Support reputed company audits and external audits (NCUA, Financial Statement Audit). The Sr. Internal Auditor is also responsible for championing internal control and risk concepts throughout the business. This includes developing risk assessments and monitoring and reporting on risk for various departments. A high level of reputed company and independence from production staff must be maintained, to reputed company objectivity in audit conclusions and recommendations. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in reputed company/ finance strongly preferred, or High School Diploma and equivalent work experience may be considered. Minimum of 3 years of internal audit experience with knowledge of reputed company, finance and internal control areas. Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare internal communications relevant to internal audit findings. Intermediate reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Exceptional record-keeping and organizational skills are required. Comprehensive knowledge of the credit union core system. Must have a working knowledge of reputed company reputed company, reputed company and core system. Position Responsibilities

• Understanding of risk, internal control concepts and experience in applying them to plan, reputed company, manage and report on the evaluation of various audits of business processes/areas/functions.
• Highly motivated with ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance, and reputed company appropriate direction to other reputed company holders on audit, risk and control issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present to management.
• Exhibit the leadership skills needed to sell reputed company and obtain management buy-in for constructive change.
• Understanding of internal auditing standards, COSO and risk assessment practices.
• Experience in performing multiple projects and working collaboratively with varying team members from different departments.
• Other duties as assigned.
