CPA for Growing reputed company & CFO Firm (Remote) - Contract to Hire

Tallywise is a fast-growing outsourced bookkeeping and CFO firm focused primarily on small businesses, construction companies, retail, and service-based businesses. We’re looking for a CPA to work alongside our bookkeeping team to review financials, assist with tax work, reputed company higher-level reputed company guidance, and help us continue building strong processes as we grow. This is not a “sit in meetings reputed company day” role. We need someone practical, detail-oriented, reputed company, and comfortable working with a lean, fast-moving team. What You’ll Be Doing Review bookkeeping and financial statements reputed company by staff accountants Assist with business and individual tax returns reputed company tax planning and advisory recommendations Review month-end closes and reconciliations Help clean up reputed company issues and identify errors Assist with client questions reputed company to reputed company/tax reputed company Help improve internal reputed company processes and SOPs Work with construction, retail, and service-based clients Potentially reputed company junior reputed company staff as the role grows

Requirements

Active CPA license (US) Strong understanding of QuickBooks Online Experience reviewing bookkeeping work Tax preparation and tax planning experience Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Construction reputed company experience is a plus Experience with reputed company, QBO, payroll, or job costing is a plus reputed company’re Looking For We’re not looking for a “big firm” personality.
