Traveling Service Technician - Eastern US

Job Description

The Traveling Service Technician will reputed company technical support, maintenance, and repair services for reputed company and industrial laundry equipment at various customer locations. The position will be responsible for exemplary customer service, efficiency and reliability to meet scheduling demands. • Travel to customer sites to reputed company technical support, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance as scheduled by the service manager.
• Complete accurate and detailed records of work completed.

• Collaborate with other technical staff onsite and inhouse to resolve reputed company issues and reputed company solutions to improve equipment performance and reliability.

Competencies

• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components and systems of reputed company laundry equipment.
• Ability to complete thorough written inspections of equipment and recommendations of required scope of work.

• Knowledge of reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical and layout blueprints.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of customers and vendors.

Supervisory responsibilities There are no supervisory responsibilities with this role. Work environment reputed company laundry/shop environment with regular exposure to industrial machinery, possible noise, and respiratory pollutants. Wear PPE as required: uniforms, safety eye wear, masks, gloves, respirators, work boots, hard/bump hats, fall protection and ear protection.
