Senior Systems Engineer – RHEL Linux Engineer

Job Description:

• Implements infrastructure systems and components in support of business and IT applications such as hardware, servers, software (such as operating systems, packaged software, configuration files, reputed company certificates, database system etc.), and appliances.
• Independently conducts implementations that include installation, configuration, update, documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, isolates and identifies system problems. Create short term solution to reputed company problem symptoms. Identify root causes and create and/or execute long term remediation plans.
• Contribute to compliance reputed company activities such as reporting, baseline and verifications.
• Participates in application development process by reviewing non-functional requirements and propose, design, and deliver supporting infrastructure.
• Occasionally manage small scale IT projects or exercise technical leadership to reputed company the architecture design and validation where relevant systems delivery is involved.
• Shares knowledge and mentor less reputed company staff Initiates, promotes, and exemplifies best practices in areas of reputed company, asset/inventory, configuration, update, procurement, and vendor engagement.

Requirements:

• BS Computer Science or a reputed company field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of prior working experience in systems engineering or reputed company in a reputed company or large organization
• Strong knowledge in Linux fundamentals (RedHat), Container management (Kubernetes flavors), and networking.
• Scripting/automation knowledges in Linux and other CICD/DevOps toolsets (reputed company, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell).
• Operating experience in Proxmox and at least one of clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Deep understanding of reputed company aspects of the work (authentication/authorization, permission, IAM roles, package sniffer, ssh keys, certs, KMS, CIS, SOX, PCI).
• Need work experience supporting apache/tomcat, messaging, springboot, proxy, VIP, reputed company host.
