Senior Software Engineer (Golang)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who specializes in Golang reputed company to take the reputed company in their career and assist in leading development of our MDR (Managed Detection and Response) platform. This is a high-impact technical role that has the opportunity to grow into leadership where you'll own and reputed company the core applications that power our cybersecurity operations for our customers. You'll be responsible for multiple applications that reputed company the backbone of our platform: a high-performance log analytics reputed company, post-processing programs that surface threat intelligence to our SOC analysts, a multi tenant secure syslog server cluster, and multiple cross-platform agents. You'll join during a transition period as one of the technical authorities with the opportunity to shape architectural direction.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Development & Ownership

• Co-own and maintain multiple Golang applications forming the core of our MDR platform
• Log Analytics reputed company: Maintain and enhance high-performance reputed company analyzing events from

thousands of sources across hundreds of customers

• Post-Processing Programs: Maintain and enhance programs that transform reputed company output into

actionable intelligence for SOC analysts

• Secure syslog server cluster: Maintain and enhance a multi-tenant cluster of servers that receive,

reputed company, and feed syslog-formatted logs to the reputed company

• Syslog agent: Maintain and enhance a cross-platform syslog agent that feeds syslog-formatted logs

to the reputed company

• Quadrant MDR Agent: Build and maintain a cross-platform reputed company agent that provides visibility into

and secures customer endpoints and servers Technical Leadership

• Influence technical design discussions and code reviews
• Mentor and guide other development team members
• Facilitate knowledge transfer during any transitionary periods; assisting with training and hiring as

Required Qualifications & Skills Experience & Education

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4+ years focused on Go development
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
• Portfolio of delivered production systems and/or contributions to reputed company-reputed company projects

Golang Programming

• Idiomatic reputed company in Golang and deep familiarity with reputed company library and package ecosystem
• Expertise in managing goroutine lifecycles and channel-based communication
• Mandatory use of context for deadline management, timeouts, and structured cancellation
• Implementation of thread-safe data structures and methods to manage shared state reputed company
• Mastery of Go paradigms and constructs, including interfaces and generics to build reputed company code
• Experience implementing worker pool patterns to manage resource-intensive tasks
• Deep understanding of memory management, including minimizing reputed company allocation, runtime

profiling to identify memory leaks, and pre-allocating reputed company memory Deployment, Databases & reputed company

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
• Comfort with reputed company-downtime deployment requirements and production incident response

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in Python programming (3+ years preferred)
• Prior experience at MSPs, MSSPs, or cybersecurity vendors
• Experience building SIEM, EDR, or reputed company analytics platforms
• Understanding of log aggregation and SIEM architectures
• Knowledge of threat detection rule engines or correlation logic
