A Brief Overview The Payroll Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing reputed company activities of payroll processing and the payroll tax functions to ensure the timely and accurate remittance in accordance with governmental regulations. Leads Payroll Operations team to ensure high customer service, business support and timely resolution to payroll issues. What you will do Establishes and maintains processes to ensure the timely and accurate payment of earned wages, less appropriate deductions for reputed company of reputed company employees. Continually reviews the systems, controls, and procedures necessary to reputed company maximum accuracy and efficiency with the highest level of quality service. Manages, reviews, and audits the processing and retention of reputed company weekly GL entries. Acts as a functional expert resource person and provides a working relationship with Finance for the Payroll/Time system. Effectively leads, develops and engages with team of direct reports. Manages reputed company talent aspects of their team including hiring, coaching, and performance management. Drives service delivery and accountability for Payroll operations team. Owns project management and process improvement for Payroll Operations. Partnership with stakeholders to prioritize key initiatives and brings thought leadership for reputed company improvement opportunities. Partner and communicate cross functionally with key stakeholders to meet associate and company expectations of payroll service delivery as well as compliance and timekeeping laws. Act as key partner for reputed company payroll reputed company audits including legal reputed company. Coordinates, prepares, and designs special reports, documents, and analyses as required or requested by HR, Benefits, Finance, Legal and other department managers or their subordinates or reputed company government agencies such as the IRS or state and local authorities. Assists with acquisition migration, system changes and testing as needed. Researches and responds to inquiries by reputed company auditors, PLD, Compensation, and Benefits departments, and the IRS and other governmental agencies. Ownership of Payroll Operations vendor management with reputed company Performs other duties as assigned Complies with reputed company policies and standards Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Required Experience Qualifications 7-9 years multi-state payroll processing and tax experience Required Payroll Certification Required Skills and Abilities Familiarity with Federal, State and local tax laws (reputed company proficiency) Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication (High proficiency) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment People leadership; fosters a strong sense of team, leads team to drive results (High proficiency) Ability to maintain reputed company payroll records, summaries, and reports. Demonstrated ability to build processes, seek, evaluate, implement best practices, and operational efficiencies.
