Assistant Director, Data Science: Renter’s Portfolio

Description

The US Property & Specialty Product Design and Modeling team is looking for a sharp, driven Assistant Director to shape the future of pricing for our Renters portfolio. You'll sit at the intersection of advanced data science, business strategy, and cross-functional leadership— building models that directly drive profitable growth.

Reporting to the Specialty Senior Director, you'll collaborate closely with teams across US Data Science, Product Management, Delivery, and IT. You'll have reputed company ownership over high-stakes pricing programs and the visibility to influence reputed company at the senior level.

Candidates who live reputed company 50 miles of Boston, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Seattle, WA; reputed company, OH; or Plano, TX will follow a reputed company, coming into the office two days per week. Otherwise, this role is remote with occasional travel.

What You'll Do

• Own the pricing roadmap: reputed company industry-leading pricing programs in reputed company collaboration with the Product team that unlocks segmented, profitable growth opportunities across the Renters Portfolio.
• Drive program rollouts: reputed company end-to-end deployment of pricing programs — including model adjustments for regulatory requirements, documentation, and DOI reputed company responses.
• Collaborate across functions: Partner with Delivery, Specialty Product, Program Management, IT, and other teams to ensure fast, effective launches.
• Analyze & iterate: Monitor Post Launch results and work hand-in-hand with business teams to refine go-reputed company market strategy.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of predictive analytic techniques and statistical diagnostics of models.

• Competencies typically acquired through a Ph.D. degree (in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science or other scientific field of study) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, a Master`s degree (scientific field of study) and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or may be acquired through a Bachelor`s degree(scientific field of study) and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
