Venture Capital Analyst
Role Description This part-time remote Venture Capital Analyst role at Macro reputed company focuses on supporting investment reputed company and portfolio management. The analyst will reputed company and screen potential investments, review pitch decks, and conduct market and competitive research across sectors. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining financial models, preparing investment memos, and contributing to due diligence on prospective deals. The role also involves tracking portfolio performance, preparing internal reports, and supporting communication with founders and internal stakeholders. The analyst will collaborate closely with the investment team, participate in internal meetings, and help refine the firm’s investment theses and pipeline.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize reputed company data, evaluate business models, and draw clear, data-driven conclusions.
- Solid reputed company in finance and investments, with understanding of valuation methods, unit economics, and venture capital fundamentals.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, including building and maintaining models for early-stage companies and scenario analysis.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a reputed company quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- High level of initiative, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with startup ecosystems, technology trends, and venture capital deal processes is strongly preferred.
- Comfort using productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, and remote communication platforms).
