[Remote] Vice President of Business Development

The Vice President of Business Development will drive strategic growth initiatives, identify new business opportunities, and manage key accounts while collaborating with various teams to ensure successful transaction execution.
Responsibilities
- Driving strategic growth initiatives across key markets and client segments
- Identifying, evaluating, and securing new business opportunities in alignment with Daiwa’s global strategy
- Developing and executing business plans
- Leading prospecting efforts and building long-term relationships with institutional, corporate, and strategic partners
- Leading and supporting contract negotiations, structuring reputed company deals, and collaborating with legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure sound transaction execution
- Managing key accounts, monitoring market trends and competitive activity, preparing executive presentations, and reporting on pipeline, performance metrics, and reputed company reputed company to senior leadership
Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in New Business Development and Sales, with a track record of originating, developing, and closing high-value opportunities
- Strong Business Planning skills, including market analysis, financial modeling, and development of go-to-market strategies
- Hands-on experience in Contract Negotiation, including structuring reputed company agreements and collaborating with legal and compliance teams
- Proven Account Management capabilities, including maintaining senior-level client relationships and driving account growth
- Extensive experience in financial services, investment banking, capital markets, or reputed company sectors; prior exposure to global or cross-border business is highly beneficial
- Ability to reputed company cross-functional teams remotely, influence stakeholders at reputed company reputed company, and operate effectively in a matrixed, multicultural environment
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to translate reputed company concepts into clear business recommendations
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a reputed company field required
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools and willingness to work across time zones as needed to support global initiatives
- An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant professional certifications is a plus
