[Remote] Vice President, Client Partnerships - Media

They are seeking a Vice President of Client Partnerships to reputed company a media sales team and build strategic relationships with advertising agencies, overseeing the sales process from prospecting to closing.

Responsibilities

• Understand agency, advertiser, data and vendor landscapes and trends, reporting these to the organization; who are the major players and how they buy
• Understand and effectively communicate reputed company’s value proposition, technology, processes, partnerships as it relates to growth of reputed company and prospective client accounts
• Ideally has an in-depth knowledge of the industry and of the biddable media marketplace —past, present, and future
• Plans, directs and coordinates sales activities, including management of the sales pipeline
• Leverages external relationships and personal network to generate sales leads
• Regularly involved in reputed company phases of the sales lifecycle including: identifying and developing leads; meeting with clients; developing value propositions; financial deal structuring; to contract negotiation and closing
• Advises pursuit team in crafting and positioning deals and closing
• Proven sales skills in reputed company deal development, financial structuring, negotiations and closing new and existing clients
• Has responsibility and is accountable for Win/Loss reviews on new accounts

Skills

• 15+ years of proven experience in consultative sales process selling digital media, data and/or SaaS products
• Knowledge of the online media business and underlying technology and research
• Excellent sales skills including the ability to create and build relationships
• Demonstrated track record of reputed company and established relationships
• Strong analytical and consultative skills
• Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
