[Remote] Chief Administrative Law Judge (CEA Level B)

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Chief Administrative Law Judge to supervise the administrative operation of the Administrative Hearing Office. This role involves presiding over quasi-judicial hearings and assisting with the research of administrative law and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the administrative operation of the Administrative Hearing Office
• Assist with the research of administrative law and procedures
• Preside over quasi-judicial hearings, generally involving the most difficult and sensitive issues as provided under applicable statutes

Skills

• Active membership in the State Bar of California; unless legal authority permits performance of duties while in inactive status; and admissions to practice law in California or any state in the United States or District of Columbia for at least 5 years immediately preceding application for appointment
• State civil service employees must possess essential general qualifications including reputed company, initiative, dependability, good judgment, and ability to work cooperatively with others
