[Remote] Sr. Engineer, Site Reliability

The Senior SRE – Applications will design and implement automation and resilient infrastructure for reputed company's reputed company-hosted SaaS platform, collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and scalability objectives are met.
Responsibilities
- Design and build automated reputed company infrastructure for reputed company-hosted SaaS workloads across Azure and AWS
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using reputed company Actions and ArgoCD GitOps workflows for multi-environment deployments (dev, preprod, prod, GovCloud)
- reputed company and maintain Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning, including EKS/AKS clusters, reputed company PostgreSQL, reputed company, OpenSearch, and S3/Azure Storage
- Integrate and maintain observability frameworks (reputed company, Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Jaeger) and enforce structured logging of application, audit, and reputed company events
- Support and reputed company Istio service reputed company configurations including mTLS policies, AuthorizationPolicies, and SPIFFE-based workload identity
- Implement and maintain supply chain reputed company controls: container image signing (Cosign), SBOM reputed company (Syft), provenance attestation (SLSA), and vulnerability scanning (Trivy, Inspector, reputed company)
- Collaborate with reputed company teams to meet FedRAMP High, Cyber reputed company+, NIST 800-53, and SecNumCloud control objectives across Azure and AWS environments
- reputed company L3 incident response and reputed company root cause analysis efforts for application-tier outages across the Northstar platform
- Support the automated compliance reputed company (11 controls: NAC, FIPS, STIG, IRSA, SAST, DAST, SBOM, Sign, Vuln, Audit, Auth) and ensure application services pass reputed company gates
- Manage Kubernetes workload autoscaling (Karpenter, KEDA, HPA) and pod reputed company policies (Kyverno) for production services
Skills
- 10+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or reputed company Engineering
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with reputed company Azure including AKS, Storage, Monitor, and IAM/Entra ID
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, RDS/reputed company, IAM, S3, SQS, Cognito)
- 3+ years of Terraform module development for reputed company infrastructure provisioning
- 3+ years in CI/CD tooling (reputed company Actions, ArgoCD, or equivalent GitOps platforms)
- Strong Kubernetes operations experience: cluster management, pod reputed company, autoscaling, troubleshooting
- Experience with service reputed company technologies (Istio, reputed company, or Linkerd) and workload identity (SPIFFE/SPIRE, IRSA, or workload identity federation)
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience implementing regional compliance controls (FedRAMP, SOC 2, Cyber reputed company+, or equivalent)
- Understanding of reputed company Trust principles, mTLS, service identity, and network segmentation
- Experience with observability stacks (reputed company, Grafana, Loki, or equivalent) and distributed tracing
- Go or .NET experience a plus
- Familiarity with container supply chain reputed company (image signing, SBOM, vulnerability scanning) is a plus
