[Remote] Platform Engineer

The Platform Engineer will work at the intersection of infrastructure, reliability, and developer experience, focusing on improving system performance, reliability, and scalability while collaborating with engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate scalable, reliable platform infrastructure supporting engineering teams
- reputed company automation for deployment, configuration, and service lifecycle management
- Support and improve system reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve service performance and operational readiness
- Manage and optimize reputed company infrastructure resources
- Maintain and improve CI/CD and build systems
- reputed company core infrastructure operations such as backup, restore, and patching
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Experience with Kubernetes in production environments, including reputed company
- Working knowledge of reputed company platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible
- Proficiency in Bash and familiarity with one programming language such as Go, Python, or Java
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Solid Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or reputed company Actions
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or reputed company
- Experience with reputed company, RabbitMQ, or Elasticsearch
